I developed the core label design system for Nueces Brewing Co., a vibrant craft brewery based in Corpus Christi, Texas. These cans are the face of the brand on retail shelves and serve as the anchor for their identity across the state.

The design needed to convey heritage, quality, and clarity—while standing out in a competitive grocery store landscape. I focused on creating a bold yet approachable system that could scale across multiple styles, from their Original Lager and Hefeweizen to their Supremo Light Lager.

Key Features:

• A consistent vertical architecture built around a clean badge-style logo

• Contrasting color blocks and metallic highlights to differentiate SKUs

• Prominent Texas pride elements (“Hecho en Corpus Christi”) for local appeal

• Simplified typographic hierarchy for quick readability in retail environments

• Musical staff lines and wave motifs subtly nodding to the coastal city’s culture
